Captorify

Feature

Turn a raw capture into a polished product visual

Beautify takes a plain browser screenshot and renders it as a presentation-ready visual: a gradient or solid background, controlled padding, rounded corners, a soft shadow, and a fixed aspect ratio.

Step 01

What beautify does

Beautify wraps a capture in a styled scene: you choose a background, padding, corner rounding, a shadow, and an output shape, and Captorify composites them into a single exported image. The editor shows a live preview as you adjust, so you can see the result before you commit to it.

  • Adds a background, padding, rounded corners, and a shadow to a capture.
  • Renders server-side and stores the final PNG.

Step 02

Backgrounds and gradients

You can place the capture on one of several mesh gradients. The mesh gradients are designed to read well behind a screenshot without competing with the content.

  • A selection of mesh gradients for a soft, modern backdrop.
  • Custom hex color for an exact brand match.

Step 03

Padding, shadow, and corners

Four sliders control the finish. Padding sets how much background shows around the capture, border radius rounds the corners of the image, and the two shadow sliders set blur and opacity for depth.

  • Padding sets the breathing room around the capture.
  • Border rounds the corners.
  • Shadow blur and opacity set depth.

Step 04

Export sizes

You can fix the output to a target ratio: Original keeps the capture proportions, while 1:1, 4:3, and 16:9 frame it for square posts, slide decks, and wide hero images. The background, padding, and shadow are composed to that shape so the exported image fits the channel rather than being cropped to fit afterward.

  • Aspect ratios: Original, 1:1, 4:3, 16:9.
  • Limits: input longest side up to 32000px.

Step 05

When to use it

Beautify is for any screenshot that will be seen by someone outside your team: a launch post, a release note, a landing page, a slide, or a help article. Capture the real UI, then add a background and padding so it looks intentional instead of pasted in.

FAQ

Common questions.

Short answers about capture, privacy, sharing, and billing.

Is beautify available on the Free plan?
No. Beautify is a Pro feature. The Free plan can capture and edit screenshots but cannot render the beautified background, padding, shadow, and aspect-ratio output.
Where does the beautified image get rendered?
Server-side. Captorify renders the final image on our servers rather than in the browser, then stores the resulting PNG. Edits auto-save through a background job, so the styled version is kept alongside the original capture.
